About Us

Daman Dhillon and Margaret Coady are firstly friends and two of the most passionate, effervescent women you will ever have working for you, on your career materials. They are the Founders and Principals of Partners Empowered Consulting Ltd. Both Daman and Margaret are passionate public health practitioners who are employed full time with the Government of Canada, have obtained their Masters of Public Health, have completed the Practical Strategies for Successful Women Leaders program, and have been both mentees and mentors throughout their careers. 

Daman Dhillon BSc, MPH

Daman (she/her) is a first generation Canadian, who now resides in Ottawa with her side-kick, Roo, after living and working from coast to coast across Canada. Daman loves to cook, be amongst nature, travel Canada and the world, go on adventures and create memories with her friends and family, and bake for her loved ones and their pups! Daman is passionate about her career in public health and addressing the social determinants of health to improve health outcomes, including employment and job security. Through this passion, Daman would like to create a safe environment to support and empower Canadians, especially women and people of colour, through their professional journey. Daman holds a Masters Degree with the School of Public Health Sciences, University of Waterloo as well as a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion with Dalhousie University. 

Margaret Coady BSc, BHSc, MPH, CPHI(C)

Margaret (she/her) is a rural-indigenous mother, wife and auntie from Renfrew County, ON. She is Anishinaabe Kwe and is of Algonquin and mixed-settler heritage with paternal roots in Kebaowek First Nations, and grew up along the shores of the Ottawa River in unceded, unsurrendered Algonquin territory. Margaret is passionate about cooking and loves to travel for new culinary experiences. She spends time coaching her kids various sports and enjoys nature and all winter sports and activities! Margaret is an avid LEGO creator and devours any book put in front of her. She has another passion that she is proud to speak of and that is writing for others, supporting people with her fine tuned lens for what employers are looking for on resumes and profiles and job processes. Margaret is empowered through her work for others and thrives on supporting communities through her diverse life experiences. Margaret holds a Masters Degree with the Faculty of Medicine, Memorial University of Newfoundland as well as a Bachelor of Health Science in Public Health from Cape Breton University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Nipissing University. 

Both Daman and Margaret have been fortunate enough to be surrounded by a supportive group of women, found the right coaches and mentors that have offered invaluable insight and opportunities and taught them to navigate organizational systems to build networks and advance their careers. Daman and Margaret are passionate about giving back to their communities, and empowering women in the workplace to achieve their highest potential.
